Built by operators who needed their hours back.
Openhour builds and runs AI agents for growing vacation rental and residential property management companies. The two people who build them ran businesses like yours first.

Built inside a real operation
The first Openhour agents ran inside Evan’s own vacation rental management company, in its real systems, before anyone else’s.
Operators, not vendors
Between them the founders have started and run multiple service businesses, including the property management company and a Charleston wedding agency.
Involved in every build
There’s no account manager in between. The two people on this page plan the agent, build it, and keep working on it after it goes live.
Why Openhour exists
Property managers do not need another platform to log into. They need the recurring work done, inside the tools they already pay for, by something that never needs a desk. We built the company we would have hired.

I built these for my own company first
I spent 18 months running a short-term rental management company in Charleston before selling my property contracts to another operator here. Somewhere in the middle of it, I started building AI agents to do the parts of the job I had been doing by hand. They worked. Not in a demo: inside my actual systems and workflows.
Aaron and I met at the College of Charleston, and we built the company we would have hired back when we didn’t know what AI agents were. We don’t sell you software to learn or another platform to log into. We build agents around your business, then host them, run them and keep them current, so you are never the person catching a bug at two in the afternoon. What we sell back is the hours that were never supposed to belong to your business.
- Ran a vacation rental management company in Charleston for 18 months, then sold its contracts
- Built the first Openhour agents inside that company’s own systems
- Designed the seven property management agents and leads every build

Once you see the pattern you can’t unsee it
I’ve started multiple businesses before this one, including a wedding agency here in Charleston. Every one taught me the same lesson: building something you believe in is the good part. The part nobody warns you about is everything underneath it. The invoices, the follow-ups, the scheduling, the fifty small tasks that quietly eat your week before you’ve touched the work you started the business to do.
The business gets bigger and the person underneath it gets smaller. That’s backwards, and we started Openhour to flip it. Here I run client relations, build strategy and delivery: I am the person on your calls, the one who plans the job with you, and the one who makes sure it ships and keeps working.
- Founded and operated multiple service businesses, including a Charleston wedding agency
- Runs client relations, build strategy and delivery at Openhour
- On every call and every build, from the first plan to launch
An earlier custom build
This was a pricing project for a vacation rental company. It is separate from the agents offered on this site.
“Working with Evan and the Openhour team has been amazing. His experience, enthusiasm, and ability to create is what sets him apart.”

Nothing to manage
You don’t pay for servers, AI accounts, or extra software. We handle all of it.
Nothing to learn
The agent works inside the software you already use, so there’s no new dashboard to learn.
Nothing to fix
We watch the agent and fix problems, usually before your team ever notices.
Curious what an agent could take off your plate?
Bring the work that's driving you crazy. We'll tell you honestly whether our agents can take it off your hands.
