Before we start, we write down how many hours the work takes your team. We measure it again at day 90. If it isn’t saving real time, we keep improving it at no extra cost. Either way, the monthly fee is month to month.

How much does a custom AI agent cost?
We talk about pricing on the second call, when we walk you through the plan. The first call is about your needs. Every proposal has a one-time build fee and a monthly fee for hosting, running, monitoring, and improving the agent. There’s no per-seat price or platform fee.
When do I pay the build fee?
On the second call, if you decide to move forward after reviewing the proposal. You can get the build fee back until we confirm the agent can be built and you approve that review. We start building after you approve it. The monthly fee starts when the agent goes live.
How does Openhour structure its pricing?
Pricing has two parts. You pay a one-time fee for us to build the agent around your rules and connect it to your software. Then you pay a monthly fee for us to host it, run it, monitor it, and keep it up to date.
What does the monthly fee cover?
It covers hosting, all AI usage costs, error monitoring, daily checks on the software the agent uses, and upgrades to better AI models as they come out. You won’t get a separate bill for any of it.
Do I pay for AI usage separately?
No. Openhour holds the AI accounts, and usage costs are included in your monthly fee, which we set with you based on how much work the agent does. You never get a usage bill.
Is there a long contract?
No. The monthly fee is month to month. You’re paying for a working agent that we run for you, not a software license, and there are no seats to add as you grow.
How long does a build take?
We set the schedule together once we know what the work involves. After you approve the proposal and the review, we build and test the agent on made-up records. Then it watches your real work without changing anything, and you review the results before it takes real actions. We also measure how much work the task takes your team before the agent starts.
What access does the agent need?
It needs the same accounts you would give a new hire on day one, limited to that role, and you can turn access off in one click. Openhour keeps the logins in a secure password vault, never in the agent’s code, and nothing runs in your name.
Who owns the agent?
Openhour builds, hosts, and owns the agent, and you pay monthly for the work it does. That keeps your monthly fee flat and lets us keep improving the agent without charging for changes. Your data, rules, and records always stay yours.
What if it does not save me time?
Openhour guarantees that an agent will save your team real hours on repetitive work within 90 days. If it doesn’t, we keep working on it at no extra cost until it does.
